Facebook takes a strict action against the pages that are violating local laws. The Facebook blocks 25 pages initially.
The government has been reported to have made 719 request and 1029 account requests. Now Facebook has blocked 25 pages.
For this action Facebook’s website reads,
“Based on legal requests from the Pakistan Telecom Authority, we restricted access to content for allegedly violating local laws prohibiting blasphemy, desecration of the national flag, and condemnation of the country’s independence.”
In the history of Facebook, it first time revealed some information on the number of account information about preservation requests by Pakistan that made a total of 280 cases.
The laws were violated and the pages were blocked no one can have access to these pages now.
