Google plans to remove millions of apps from the Play Store

Google takes action against the violation of User Data Policy by developers. Google has sent several notices in last 24 hours, to many developers across the world.

The notice featured a warning for developers by Google that their apps will removes or their visibility will limited I Play Store if the apps violate the company’s User Data Policy.

Zombie apps are littering the Google play store. The intentions have been announced and developers whose mobile apps do not have a protected private policy should consider their apps down already.

Jack Cooney is associated with Nerd Agency. It is the same agency that created “Hip Hop Ninja” app. According to Jack,

“I think it’s fantastic, this will clear the Google Play store of so many junk and zombie apps that our games will find increased visibility on the store as the search terms will become much less cluttered.

This will make it easier for people to be able to find our app’s like Hop Hop Ninja!, with better keyword searches like ninja or Nerd Agency and find much more relevant results. (A previous pain point of development for Android).”

Google play store is so crowded with apps, sometimes you end finding a wrong, useless app instead of something useful. This is due to violation of company’s policy.

Google by these steps ensures full user privacy. All consumer privacy concerns will be solved.

Google no doubt has given sometime ti the developers to make the privacy policy addition. The last date for updating their app is March 15. After the date app will have “limited visibility” or will be removed.
