Under the “Coursera for Governments and Nonprofits” program Coursera and Pakistan have tied themselves into a partnership. Coursera is an online open course provider.
Online education website Coursera is interested in helping Pakistan along with seven other countries. It will help the countries to prepare their communities for the jobs of the future.
It will do so by providing affordable access to learning programs.
It will provide certificates too.
According to organization,
“Overseas Technologies and Coursera have partnered with various public institutions, including the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, to train 3,000 young adults across Pakistan.”
They further added,
“Participants will take online courses in computer science, data analytics, career success and language learning, and receive wraparound services from 13+ physical learning centers.”
The organization also binds into similar partnership with United States, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Mongolia and Singapore.
The partners in this program will be helped to design new learning models Coursera is a platform to blend online courses. It aims a better education opportunity.
