The game, which had become a global sensation and was reportedly earning $50,000 a day, was pulled by its creator, Dong Nguyen, who felt overwhelmed by the attention it brought.

Nguyen had initially designed Flappy Bird as a simple game to play in short, relaxing moments. However, its addictive nature led him to remove it, stating, “It has become a problem. To solve that problem, it’s best to take down this game. It’s gone forever.”
