Whenever an iPhone is launched people start making guesses for the features of next iPhone. It was rumored that the next iPhone will have a iPhone wireless charging feature. Though they were believed to be merely rumors until now when Apple has been reported to have joined Wireless Power Consortium it is the foundation that sets the Qi charging standard.

This is a solid lead to expect that iPhone 8 will have a warless charging feature. In most devices that support wireless charging Qi charging standards are used.

The foundation joins about 200 members of tech-industry like Samsung, HTC, Huawei and Microsoft.

No comments have been given particularly about this step by Apple but Apple didn’t forget mention that “joining the Wireless Power Consortium to be able to participate and contribute ideas to the open, collaborative development of future wireless charging standards”.

According to stats the market is warm for wireless charging devices as about 350 million devices have been shipped only in a year.

Xiaomi had to launch its mobile phone but due to some distribution challenges the launch has been delayed. It’s not delayed for long; it will launch its mobile in Pakistan on 20th February, 2017.

Xiaomi joined hands with Smart Link for distribution, launch and management issues.

In association with launch partners like Smart Link, Daraz ad Zong; Xiaomi Pakistan will launch the phones in a great ceremony of launch event in Islamabad. The event will be attended by officials from China too.

Once the phones are launched they will be made available for Pakistanis as nearest mobile phone shops immediately.

The Xiaomi phones will also be made available at Daraz.

Till now only four mobile phones have been allowed to launch by PTA.

Government of Sindh is taking some vital steps to save the people from being the victim of mobile snatching or stealing. A meeting was held under chairmanship of the IG of Sindh Allah Dino. The officials present at the meeting have put forward an idea to launch a software to stop this increasing crime.

The meeting aimed to guide officials about steps been taken to control and finish street crimes.

Along with IG Sindh, AIG  Mushtaq Maher, DIG Sultan Ali Khawaja, and Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) Chief Zubair Habib and many more officials were present in the meeting.

A plan was proposed to launch a software that will help in easy recovery of snatched or stolen phones.

The software will be such that it will register IMEI number along with sim card number. The best part about this is that this works with all sort of mobile phones.

If a phone is lost and user will  ask to block the sim card than with the help of software through IMEI number the mobile phone will be blocked and it will become useless for anyone.

IG Sindh has guided the stake holders ti complete the process of development of software really soon. He asked them to put it forward for approval as soon as possible so that maximum benefit can be gained.
