The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has proposed that the government eliminate regulatory duties on telecom equipment imports, provide a tax credit for new IT graduates, simplify taxation in the sector, and reduce taxes on mobile phones in order to make doing business in the country easier.

Official sources told that the recommendations were discussed during a meeting between top officials from the IT Ministry and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). According to sources, the Ministry has divided the recommendations into priority one and priority two in order to help the industry and avoid affecting income generation methods.

The Ministry has suggested eliminating the regulatory tariff on telecom equipment imports as a top priority. A tax credit for new IT graduates has also been proposed in the same category. In the same vein, the government has recommended simplifying the tax structure for the sector, which is seen as a major roadblock to its expansion.
However, in order to achieve the digital goal, the Ministry has proposed lowering taxes on mobile handsets in category two.

A cut in mobile phone taxation has also been proposed by the Senate Standing Committee. The committee was informed that a mobile phone worth $500 is subject to a tax of Rs. 80,000. A tax exemption for laptops was also advocated by the committee. The FBR has been urged to lower the tax on imported phones, according to Secretary IT.

Samsung downplayed a report claiming that the company has stopped producing the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE phone. South Korean publication ETNews claimed over the weekend that the production of this phone was stopped without notice due to semiconductor shortages and that Qualcomm processors had been reallocated to foldable devices.

The report has been deleted, and Samsung has now stated that it has not yet made a decision on whether to stop production.

In a statement sent to Bloomberg via text message, the company stated: “Although we cannot discuss the details of the unreleased product, we have not yet made any determination on the so-called discontinuation.”

Galaxy S21 FE (FE stands for Fan Edition) is expected to be It is a more affordable version of the ordinary S21.

Last year, Dieter Bohn gave a positive review of the Galaxy S20 FE, noting that it has some pleasant high-quality components, and cheaper components will not have much impact on the experience. S21 FE has not been officially announced.

But Samsung said at an event last year that it plans to launch a fan version of its flagship phone in the future. OnLeaks released a rendering of what is said to be the S21 FE in April, showing a design similar to the popular Galaxy S21.

It is worth noting that Samsung did not completely deny the ETNews report, but it may take a while for the truth to be revealed. The S20 FE was not announced until September last year and was launched in October, so even if Samsung is now experiencing supply chain issues with its successor, it may not be launched soon.

During April to June Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 will be available in the market with dual SIM variants.

After re-launch of Nokia 3310, Nokia has officially announced that all models of Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 will have a dual SIM option which they are planning to launch globally in a couple of months.

They also confirmed that Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 will have dual SIM tray along with a dedicated micro SD card slot to extend the memory of the device, whereas Nokia 6 will have hybrid SIM option, which means that there will be no dedicated slot to insert the micro SD card.

If you want to increase the internal memory by using a memory card then you have to use the SIM 2 slot for this purpose. Hence Nokia 6 users can either use Dual SIM option with no memory card, or they can use a memory card with only single SIM option.

Most of the latest models from Samsung, Huawei and OPPO have hybrid SIM options only few models are available in the market which gives you option to use two SIM slots along with a dedicated memory card slot. But it is good to see that two out of three models of Nokia will have dual SIM option as well as dedicated slot to insert the memory card.

Nokia also confirmed that all new models of Nokia, no matter if it is single SIM or dual SIM, will have Android Nougat out of the box, and updates to next android dual SIM versions will also be available for these models. Also these mobiles will be available unlocked in most of the international markets including United States.

Asian market is the ideal place for Nokia to boost its sale by providing Dual SIM mobiles (with or without dedicated card slot) and providing unlocked versions as most of the mobile users in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh loves to use dual SIM unlocked phones.

So let’s see when HMD Global is launching the dual SIM versions in Asian market as there are many users waiting for the arrival of Nokia mobiles in Pakistan.

Sony is trying to bring innovation and ideas to reality. For the convenience and keeping the interests of the users in mind Sony is trying to introduce new features. Lately the news of lunch of Xperia XZ took the internet by storm.

According to the buzz the new Sony is going to feature a super slow-mo camera. This is no it, it also has some he beneficial features like mobile to mobile charging. It will also connect the mobile phones without a wire to charge. The wireless charging will be done by connection of hotspot.

Here we won’t forget to mention that Sony has just recently submitted the patent, this means that plan could take a long period of time and could not be worked upon immediately. It is jut confirmed that Sony Plan to launch such features. With this there is another thing to needs to be remembered that is the capability to mobile. It will be charged from other Smartphones or gadgets. The company has not decided yet about that.

Energy loses cannot be neglected. Estimation and experience has shown that when charging is shared between two devices the mobile is never fully charged. Some energy is defiantly lost. For example you have a device of 2500mAh and you charge It wireless with a 2500mAh battery device, you won’t get full battery.

A report says,

“A Smartphone charges the other device with 1:1 charge transfer ratio it may not turn to be an excellent feature.”

WhatsApp’s new update for iOS is exciting. On Tuesday, the announcement was made that now WhatsApp will allow sending offline messages by queuing them and they will be sent automatically once you find an internet connection.

Android users are availing this offer for more than a year now and now it is available for iOS users too. The previous version that was available for iOS had its send button disabled, if the mobile was not connected o a strong internet connection.

So even if you were writing a message and suddenly lost connection, you were not allowed by WhatsApp to send the message until you got internet connection back.

So now you can send message earlier and than go ahead to complete all necessary tasks the app will send your message automatically whenever the device catches internet signals. And the best part is not only one message can be sent but a lot of messages can be queued and sent.

Previously the WhatsApp installed in iOS would pause the message in the internet and connection was lost. According to the buzz, the new updated version of WhatsApp now allows 30 photos or videos to be added once. Previously only 10 items could be uploaded once.

Now the number has increased to 30. Storage usage screen has also been updated now enables you to clear certain message types, like videos or images, from specific chats to free up space. This is good news for all iOS users. So update your WhatsApp now.
