Opera brings to you a new browser named Opera Neon. The browser is made in the same engine as Opera but it provides a new way to interact with web. It can be viewed on Windows and Mac. This makes it easy to use. The theme is changed and has changed the way we used to browse earlier.

The tabs have been simplified and are changed to circular icons. The icons floats and it also provides offline mode. You can save the tabs but simply dragging and dropping them to favorites area.

Now you can visit two sites at the same. You can view the content of both at the same time by side by side preview. Snapping will allow you easier working all you need to do is drag the tab and drop to the other tab. You can also watch a video while working in some other site.

A video was uploaded by Opera featuring some features of Opera Neon.

Chief of Opera Browser Krystian Kolondra said regarding Opera Neon,

“Web browsers of today are basically from the last millennium, a time when the web was full of documents and pages. With the Opera Neon project, we want to show people our vision for the future of the web.”

Opera is just testing its concept. The new browser can be downloaded from former Opera website. If any one of you think that Opera Neon will replace Opera than I guess its not happening. The browser just provides a new way of browsing and is in its developing stage. Download Opera Neon here.

Windows Central reported that Microsoft is working on a new design language for the third major update to Windows 10.

The new design language is named NEON. From years now Microsoft has had Tom and Jerry like relation with languages. They keep trying something or the other to introduce something new.

From some years now Microsoft has worked with a number if languages. Shiny and reflective taskbar, glass window borders, and eye-catching animations attracted a lot of appreciation from users across different platforms.

The tables turned when Windows phone 7, that had Metro Design Language was introduced for the first time ever. It celebrated simple and colorful interface with smooth animations and clean typography.

When this language was introduced to Windows 10 desktop version the people didn’t appreciate it. It was quite different response. People disliked the features and the effects.

The flaws were overcome by introduction of MLD and that brought along some key changes to help it be more useful with a keyboard and mouse. NEON is a new code-name for the next version of Microsoft’s design language.

It extends the idea of running the same interface on all devices which was first introduced in Windows 8. NEON is expected to serve as a bridge between holographic and augmented reality (AR) and the desktop environment. It is expected to launch in 2017.

As per the latest news from a reliable source it will start showing up in Redstone 3 builds which are expected to arrive around April or May next year. Many details about design and launch are not yet revealed, but its most probably going to be a better version.

This news got viral with in no time. Everyone is expecting a fully moderated version of windows with introduction of this new language.

2017 is far but we hope waiting is worth it.
