Online Streaming Service iFlix has been finally launched in Pakistan. It perhaps was the most awaited event of 2017 from the day when last year in March the authorities had hinted about its launch in Pakistan. Later the news was confirmed in September 2016.

To provide a better service and a wider range of content iFlix has contacted the top studios around the world. About 150 studios have become partners of the newly introduced service in Pakistan. These studios include Paramount, Fox, CBS, Warner Bros and Disney.

The company received good funding from MGM this shows that it has been running with great success in targeted market. Moreover its success has been elaborated by its rapid growth in South Asia.

iFlix is a Kuala Lumpur based online streaming service. The company has compared it self not to the Netflix but Spotify. The reason for this is that Netflix offers streaming for some specific regions but iFlix has claimed that it is going to provide the streaming from all over the world irrespective of regions and boundaries.

iFlix Pakistan

Recently the service has been officially launched in Pakistan. Pakistanis now can subscribe to iFlix and enjoy the streaming. To subscribe people only need to visit  the website and sign up. After signing up they can view the content.

The webpage of the iFlix tells that now Pakistanis will be able to watch many TB shows. There are thousands of shows of many categories that include amazing TV shows, life time drama serials, movies of all kind and much more. The streaming will also be done from the countries including US, UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and more. One thing that needs to be added is that the local dramas are also going to be the part of the catalog.

Streaming Features

Users can avail this service on five of their devices. Subscribers access content by smartphones, tablets, desktop PCs, laptops or TV sets.

The content can be shared on two separate devices on the same time. It also provides offline service through which they can download and watch the video later.

As the service is new, Online Streaming Service iFlix is providing one month of free access. There are no obligations of credit or debit card payment. The trial period of month is free if you don’t like the account will be deleted after period of 30 days. If you will like it than you will have to pay from second month of subscription.

The cost is reasonable and it is just as same as the standard fee of cable. It costs you only Rs. 300/- only.

Netflix now launches Pakistani Drama Series. It’s just been sometime that Netflix was introduced in Pakistan. It is an app sharing videos worldwide. First the movies were launched and now Dramas too are the part of Netflix.

It chose three Pakistani Dramas to launch all by HUM TV according to trends and ratings set by the dramas. Director Momina Durraid wrote on Facebook: “Netflix California portal picks and launches its first ever Pakistani drama serials Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzaar hay and Sadqay Tumhare. Big milestone for Pakistan digital industry! Congratulations Team Humsafar, Team Zindagi Gulzaar Hai and Team Sadqay Tumharay”.

Humsafar

Humsafar was originally a novel written by Farhat Ishtiaq which was changed into a drama under direction of Sarmad Khosat. It went on air on HUM TV from 24th September 2011 to 3rdMarch 2012. The drama was a mesmerizing combination of suspense, romance and drama.

 Zindagi Gulzaar Hai

Zindagi Gulzaar Hai was based on novel of Momina Durraid, who was also the producer and the directions were given by Sultana Siddiqui. It was also aired on HUM TV from 30th November 2012 to May 2013. The drama should a strong lady character who deals with the problems in the beat possible way.

Sadqe Tumhare

Another drama that too was aired on HUM TV is Sadqe Tumhare. The drama was based on the life of the writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. It was a romantic love story where the couple had to face many difficulties to be together.
