Amazon finally adds Pakistan to its sellers’ list

Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Commerce, Textiles and Investment Abdul Razzaq Dawood announced on Twitter that Amazon has confirmed that Pakistan has been included in the list of sellers of the e-commerce giant.

“Further to my previous tweet, today @amazon has confirmed that Pakistan has been added to its Sellers’ List. It is a big accomplishment for our E-Commerce & will open up vast opportunities for a new breed of young men & women entrepreneurs. We congratulate everyone involved,” the commerce advisor wrote.

The Prime Minister’s Trade Adviser earlier stated that Amazon’s listing is an important milestone in the government’s e-commerce policy thanks to the joint efforts of many people around the world. If it is global, Amazon’s inventory in all its categories and services is approximately 12 million.

He said: “Amazon has a 45% share of the US e-commerce market, and it can be explored in an open competitive environment.” Ahmed said:

“This is a huge motivation for Pakistani manufacturers.” Digital media marketing Merchant Nouman Younas added that Amazon’s update is not only good news for the business community, but freelancers are also very happy.

After joining the list, Pakistani businessmen will be able to easily sell their products on the platform. However, according to reports, the Ministry of Commerce initially only shared the names of 38 exporters with Amazon for registration, so it will take time to make the most of it.
