3G & 4G Users in Pakistan Hit 35.5 Million Mark
Internet speed is a craze among everyone. The companies are introducing devices with more and more speed every time.
With the introduction of the devices the number of 3G and 4G users in country has increased largely. Mobile tele-density reached 69.22 per cent. As the mobile phone users reached 134.91mn by October, up from 134.41mn a month ago, registering an increase of around 0.5mn cellular subscribers during the period.
According to counts at the end of October 2016, the number of 3G and 4G users in the country has reached 35.45 million. It was 1.13mn users more than the September 2016.
The number of mobile broadband connection was 34.32 million till September 2016.
According to the statistics that were revealed by PTA 3G subscribers of Mobilink, Zong, and Telenor reached 11.78mn, 6.68mn and 9.24mn respectively by October, these stats were up to 10.955mn, 6.66mn and 9.11mn by September.
Warid LTE subscribers were 577275 in September. Within the month the counting increased to 5, 99,785.
Users of 4G (Zong) were not less in the count. In duration of one month their number increased from 1,713,900 to 1,903,285.
