HP and NASTP Launch Gaming Garage Lab & Game Development in Pakistan

HP, in collaboration with the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP) and M&P, has launched the HP Gaming Garage Lab at the NASTP Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) in Lahore. This initiative aims to transform Esports Management and Game Development education. Students will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology, preparing them for careers in media, ICT, and gaming.

In Pakistan, HP has equipped NIIT’s new lab with HP All-in-One PCs and Victus Gaming Laptops. Students also gain access to the HP Gaming Garage online learning platform, ensuring practical exposure to industry-relevant skills.

The gaming industry has seen rapid growth over the past decade. By 2026, PC gamers worldwide will exceed 909 million, surpassing console gamers by 33%. This booming sector is creating jobs, driving innovation, and boosting economic growth.

At the launch event, Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Asim Rana SI (M) stressed the importance of infrastructure, skill development, and a strong ecosystem to unlock Pakistan’s gaming potential.

Nawaz Dhanji, HP Pakistan’s Country Business Manager, reaffirmed HP’s commitment to free education in Game Development and Esports Management. He emphasized the importance of equal access to digital learning.
