OGRA Unveils ‘Raahguzar’ App to Locate Legal Petrol Pumps and Report Illegal Outlets
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has launched the Raahguzar app to help users locate legal petrol pumps, report illegal outlets, and access fuel prices. Powered by GIS technology, the app aims to promote transparency, curb malpractices, and enhance the integrity of Pakistan’s oil industry.
The app, developed in collaboration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Oil Companies Advisory Council (OCAC), allows consumers, district governments, and law enforcement agencies to identify illegal “dabba stations,” lodge complaints, and ensure quality standards.

In addition to mapping legal petrol pump locations, Raahguzar provides updated petrol and diesel prices. Currently available on the Google Play Store, the app represents a significant step toward accountability and transparency in the oil sector.
At the launch event, OGRA Chairman Masroor Khan highlighted the initiative’s importance, calling it the first phase of a larger track-and-trace system. The event, held in Islamabad, was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Energy, FBR, Customs, and representatives from OCAC and the Oil Marketing Association of Pakistan (OMAP).
