Pakistani team qualifies for the biggest robotics competition in Asia
Pakistanis are proving that they can excel in every field of life. It is another proud moment or Pakistan when a bunch of young teenagers were selected for the participation in Asia’s Robotics Competition.
The talented students are from the Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST). The university is located in Islamabad.
Pakistan Television hosted an event in which they decided that which of the company from Pakistan should head to participate in robotics competition. The leading universities like CUST, NUST, FAST and UET etc participate in the local event. Amongst these countries the bet project was submitted by CUST.
The largest Asian robotics competition is titled as Robocon. Asian Broadcast Union Robotics is hosting the annual competition. The magnificent event will take place at Tokyo and will begin on from 27th August with 22 teams from different countries participating to race towards the finals.
This is not the first time that the students from Pakistan have made us proud but the wonder was also done by students of NUST some two years ago when they were selected for the RoboCup.
Each year, there is a different theme for the competition. This year the new theme introduced is named “asobi”. Asobi means “play”.
We hope the team from Pakistan brings back good news to Pakistan. We wish a very good luck to the team.
