GIK Institute to establish Its first Entrepreneurship Program, The Incubator
16th February, 2017 will mark the launch of ‘The Incubator’ by GIKI.
It is the first entrepreneurship program by Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Pakistan.
The program aims to provide a better helping platform for young startups and graduates.
The program claims to be the best startup program of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Just a couple years back, development of entrepreneurs in Pakistan was difficult. To access mentors, business trainers and investors was not so easy for startups. Now Universities starts building resources for students to make them successful entrepreneurs.
The Incubator aims to help startups by providing them with facilities like office space, technical assistance, and mentoring, legal assistance in intellectual property protection and company formation, computer and internet services, phone and fax facilities. In short it manages more than half of the work of newly emerging startup.
It is a learning platform where the young people can learn and broaden their ideas and widen their perspectives. Mentors will be available for interaction and help.
The Incubator already bagged a grant of PKR 100 Million by KPK’s Government.
The glorious launch ceremony of the massive event is planned to be held at GIK Institute, Topi, Pakistan.
The Launch Event will be Held at GIKI on 16th February 2017
Before the launch ceremony a test-run has been done just to be sure that everything will go the way GIKI wants.
