Microsoft Launches Skype Lite Android App for Emerging Markets
Lately after Facebook launched its lite version, many other apps have stepped forward with their lite versions.
One of the most used applications; Skype has now launched its lite version. The version is to be launched in India and other Emerging markets for now and supports many languages that include Urdu too.
Skype Lite surprisingly works really fine even on 2G.
This will consume lesser data as compared to the normal app. The modification saves the data during calls and messages but this update can be disabled for a steady calling and better experience.
The app works just like the normal Skype application. The only change is its shade that is made dark to make it stylish and classy.
The Skype Lite app is updated with SMS integration method. This is the reason that it now separates SMS and Skype messages very keenly and precisely. The app is also equipped with horoscope and vehicle registration inquires to make it more users friendly.
Skype is now available in India and can be downloaded from Appstore.
