PTCL to offer extra speed as apology for its poor broadband services
Recent complaints by the users indicate that at the busy hours of the day the speed f the internet gets slow as a turtle. It is hard to browse and perform certain tasks online.
Recognizing the problem and stating the reason the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), has stated that there was fault in SEA-ME-WE-4 cable.
PTCL has recently apologized from the users for the inconvenience. They stated that the internet services are back. To make up to the users the PTCL has offered high speed internet service to its users.
The undersea cable SEA-ME-WE 4 was damaged and the restoration work was made complete. The International Consortium managed the work of the damaged cable.
PTCL used its Facebook page for apologizing from its customers. It also chose social media website for announcing that it has added an additional bandwidth that will enable fast browsing experience.
According to the PTCL’s post on Facebook,
“We apologize for internet connectivity issues being faced by some of you due to a fault in the International submarine cable. The International consortium is repairing it for earlier restoration. PTCL has taken action and is now routing traffic through the other 3 submarine cables.”
Moreover, PTCL has stated,
“We have commissioned World’s largest submarine cable system Asia-Africa-Europe 1 (AAE-1) which is a 25,000 km consortium cable system connecting South East Asia to Europe via Egypt, the largest submarine cable to be constructed in almost 15 years.”
