WhatsApp Will Soon Let Users Choose Quality of Videos Before Sharing
We all face the situation where we want to send an important video to someone on WhatsApp, but the quality is also reduced due to its built-in image or video compression tool, but this inconvenience will soon end because the Messenger company is developing a new feature that allows users to share high-resolution videos with their friends and family.
As reported in the screenshots shared by WABetaInfo, the new feature will let users choose whether to send the “best quality” to others or save the data through compression. The screenshot shows that three options will be provided, including automatic, better quality, and data saving.
The automatic option will determine and automatically detect the best compression algorithm for a particular video. The better quality option will preserve the video quality, while the “Data Saver” option will compress the video to save the data and reduce bandwidth.
Still, under development, don’t know when it will be released in the stable version of the mobile app. This new feature is useful for thousands of users who want to share high-quality videos with their contacts, just like WhatsApp currently does. Before sharing the video with the contact, the user is not allowed to choose the quality of the video.
