Careem to Expand Its Services to 5 More Pakistani Cities
The ride-hailing market is expected to heat up in the coming times in Pakistan for sure as foreigners are looking to invest in this developing country. The poor public transport system has led to launch of many ride-hailing services in Pakistan, one of them is Careem. Careem was launched in Pakistan last year and it aimed to serve 5 more Pakistani cities.
It is a Dubai based service. Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad are the three cities who are already using services provided by Careem. Recently a company’s statement was issued that hinted the expansion of the service in five more cities of Pakistan that are Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Peshawar and Multan.
The statement issued also included the fact that the services to these cities will be launched in weeks but the statement didn’t have any specific date regarding the launch of this service.
Careem has a tussle with Uber who is the top competitor of Careem. Surely after the launch of Careem services in the other cities the Uber will face problems they might launch their services in many other cities.
Now this business is in so people can avail these services as much as they want to.
