Complaints Against Illegal Profiteering Possible Through Qeemat Punjab App

On Thursday, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Muhammad Asif Balal Lodhi announced that citizens can use the Qeemat Punjab App to report food shortages and illicit profiteering.

“A dedicated Toll Free Helpline 0800-02345 has been introduced for the convenience of citizens throughout the holy month of Ramzan,” Chairman PITB added. The pricing of vital commodities, fruits, vegetables, and poultry are updated daily via the Qeemat Punjab app, according to him.

Consumers can also use the Qeemat Punjab App to complain about high prices of vital commodities, lack of display of official price lists, poor quality of sale items, or inappropriate behaviour of shopkeepers, he added.
