Meta Brings Back #MonthofGood Campaign for Ramadan
This Ramadan, Meta is reviving its #MonthofGood campaign with new immersive experiences and features across its platforms to help Muslim communities in Pakistan and throughout the world completely embrace the spirit of the Holy Month.
During #MonthofGood, Meta will share stories of Muslim communities making a positive effect, offer Muslim innovators an entrance point into immersive technology, and provide methods for users to express themselves across our apps. Our tools are increasingly being used by Muslim creators and communities to generate dialogues that matter to them and have a positive impact.
Over the next four weeks, Meta will honour them by sharing curated content and programming across its platforms through its Ramadan Talks Series, in which creators from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific will gather each week on Facebook Live and Instagram to discuss topics of passion like food, Earth Day, creating Reels, and building brands with their communities.
Meta will also bring daily Ramadan Facebook Watch and IGTV Series featuring inspiring and entertaining #MonthofGood activities from various creators and entertainment networks from Pakistan and around the world — everything from a handy guide to cook your favourite Iftar meal to new ideas to giving back to the community.
Meta has been taking specific measures for empowering Muslim entrepreneurs and moving towards a more equitable future of technology, inspired by the spirit of Ramadan. To that goal, the business is releasing new Ramadan AR effects and incorporating Muslim culture into the metaverse’s core.
Finally, because the principles of generosity, charity, spiritual reflection, and connection to loved ones are still fundamental to the Ramadan tradition, Muslims all across the world can participate in the MonthofGood by donating to organizations via Facebook or Instagram.
INARA, Molham Volunteering Team, Muslim Sisters of Éire, and Palestine Children Relief Fund are just a few of the zakat-eligible Ramadan fundraisers.
By sharing the #MonthofGood Top Picks template and tagging them on their Stories with the #MonthofGood hashtag, Meta technologies users may also help local companies or a cause that is important to them.
Ramadan Avatar stickers on Facebook and Instagram, as well as bespoke camera stickers on Messenger, are available to help users enhance their digital experience throughout the holy month, as has been the case in the past.
