PIA Launches Online Booking Mobile App for Online Check-in
The Pakistan International Airlines has been working hard to satisfy its customers and for this purpose they have introduced technology in every sort. Recently PIA has introduced online reservation for the passengers. These booking are confined to some domestic routes only.
PIA plans to give passengers Check–in facility very soon. PIA is determined to expand this service and include other local and international routes to facilitate the customers in near future.
The online service started on 12 of June, 2017. The online service allows the passenger to book online ticket three hours before the flight leaves. Check-in facility is now only one click away.
PIA announced the launch of the service some days ago. They also asked for the precious feedback of customers. They guided the customers to Online Check-in via the PIA website or the mobile app online.
As said before, the service is applicable for the some local routes. These routes include the flights between major cities like Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi. The online facility is surely going to be applied on the other local and international routes in the future as determined by the PIA authority. The online check-in facility is available for the passengers on the PIA website and also on its android app.
As per announced by the PIA authority the passengers need to web check 24 hours to three hours before the flight takes off. If they are carrying any language, they need to inform the counter 45 minutes before the flight’s timing.
PIA has suffered criticism and has been the target of many problems in the past. They are trying to make their position strong in the country and the only way they can keep their charm is to digitize and revolutionize the system.
