Chinese Company Xiaomi Partners with Smartlink to Launch Smartphones in Pakistan
Smartlink and Xiaomi tie themselves into knots of partnership. The partnership aims to launch Xiaomi officially in Pakistan.
The Chinese Smartphone company started selling its mobile phones in Pakistan through the distribution partner CheezMall in 2016. Xiaomi is the 4th largest Smartphone manufacturer across the world. Its operations were banned in Pakistan by the Pakistani Government on the allegation of selling mobiles illegally in Pakistan.
PTA approved Xiaomi in November 2016. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority also issued a no objection certificate (NOC). Now Xiaomi is all set to launch officially in Pakistan.
The news was confirmed in the newspaper advertisement that reads,
According to the news, the two of the models are approved by PTA to be launched in Pakistan. The two models are Xiaomi Mi 5 and Xiaomi Mi Max. We have not got any idea about the launch or approval of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Note 4 yet.
If we look at the specs of the mobile phones of Xiaomi, Mi Max comes with the 6.44 inches screen. It has a Hexa-core processor with 3GB RAM. It has in built storage capacity of 64 GB and has 16 MP rear cameras. It comes with 5 MP front camera and 4850 mAh battery.
The Smartphone operates on Android OS. Whereas Mi cokes with a 5.15 inches screen and is Quad-core. It had 3GB RAM. The mobile has 16 MP rear and 4 MP front cameras. The storage capacity of the phone is 32/64 GB. It too operates on Android OS and has a 3000 mAh battery.
The Xiaomi will not only sell mobile phones but it is permitted to sell power banks, chargers, VGA adapters, Mi VR etc.
Xiaomi is famous for selling high quality products in a very reasonable price. MI is a symbol which represents Xiaomi actually. MI Smartphones Pakistan could be famous soon.
