This startup offers you to buy and sell pets online in Pakistan

Man loves to kept animals as pets. Some keep pets for safety, others keep them for beauty, some are fond pets and others keep pets for showing their power and status.

Man till date has kept every kind of animal as pet. From dogs to lions every animal has been in cage.

The domesticated animals like dogs, birds, cats, fish, reptiles and even rodents like gerbils and hamsters have topped the list so far.

PaltooPK is the first Pakistani platform to buy and sell pets online. A wide range of animals with breeds is listed. The portal allows both to sell and buy the “man’s best friend.”

Umer Baig the founder of PaltooPK says,

“There are currently a lot of people in Pakistan who are selling what they claim are high pedigree dogs at exorbitant prices but they are scamming customers because they don’t have the records to back up their claims.”

He also said,

“There were several European based organizations that catalogue all the pedigree dogs in the world but since there was no such catalogue available in Pakistan, PaltooPK are going to be the first ones to introduce it. We are digitizing the process of verification of pets in order to prevent fraud in the pet trade. The system will be fully functional in the next two months.”

It is not just buying or selling portal but it comes with the best features like the audience can learn how to take care of their pets and how to create a better environment around them. It also has a blog section where pet owners can share their experiences.

The startup aims to provide vet and the grooming services to the door-step. It is in talks with 70 pet selling businesses for better service. The portal has been able to deliver 9 pets to their new owners.

PITB selected PaltooPK from hundreds of application during Plan9 incubation. The other startups selected for the 9th cycle of incubation in Plan9 include HumBike, Project 50 Kids, Neurostic, Qayaam, Pakistani Soghat, Journal Post, HomeStove and AdSpace.
