Saudi Arabia to introduce e-Visa system for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages

e-Visa system to be launched next month for Umrah and Hajj. The government of Saudi-Arab announced the e-Visa system for everyone. Excellent job done by the Saudi authorities to enable potential hajjis to apply for an online Umrah visa.

Already in KSA, Umrah-related activities are taking place electronically, which has reduced processing time to a few hours.

Involvement of technology means that the process of visa will be accelerated and would be made more efficient. The system will be functioned with many regulations that the pilgrims will have to follow.

How will it work?

Saudi Hajj Company will appoint an agent and the applicants would contact these agents to apply for visa.  Assistance will be made by the agent and the agent will receive the money from applicants and send it to the company by bank transfer.

On the basis of the information provided E-number will issued by the Pakistani companies in collaboration with Saudi companies. The visas will be issued by the Saudi government on verification of E-number.

According to the buzz, the system will be launched from next month.

The system makes it easier for the applicants to receive visas. Over the period of time the visit visa, aqama visa, and business visa would be digitalized too.
