HEC invites applications for Overseas PhD Scholarships

Longing for PhD? Short of funds? Well Higher Education Commission has come up with solution to your problem. It’s now offering scholarship for PhD against the project -UESTP/UETs (Batch-VI), with the availability of qualified faculty.

You thus can gain a scholarship for direct PhD for subjects such as Agriculture, Engineering and Business.
For participation you can Apply on HEC’s online portal up until June 30,2017, given that you are not availing any other government or HEC’s Overseas PhD Scholarships and are an outstanding in field of studies and have gone through either 18 years of study or M Phil.

Once you have buffed this up, you could just wait and hope being amongst the few lucky. One thing to be noted is that no distinction would be made over race or gender as per claims, but the truth in this statement could only be dissected as time rolls again.

The Purpose reads as follows, as per claims,

“The main objective of this project is to produce 1500 PhD level Engineers, Scientists and Technologists who will eventually become the potential faculty members of the Universities of Engineering, Science and Technology. These institutes are being built in collaboration with technologically advanced universities of France, Italy, Germany, China, South Korea and Austria.”
