Opera Launches Neon, a New Concept Browser for the Desktop
Opera brings to you a new browser named Opera Neon. The browser is made in the same engine as Opera but it provides a new way to interact with web. It can be viewed on Windows and Mac. This makes it easy to use. The theme is changed and has changed the way we used to browse earlier.
The tabs have been simplified and are changed to circular icons. The icons floats and it also provides offline mode. You can save the tabs but simply dragging and dropping them to favorites area.
Now you can visit two sites at the same. You can view the content of both at the same time by side by side preview. Snapping will allow you easier working all you need to do is drag the tab and drop to the other tab. You can also watch a video while working in some other site.
A video was uploaded by Opera featuring some features of Opera Neon.
Chief of Opera Browser Krystian Kolondra said regarding Opera Neon,
“Web browsers of today are basically from the last millennium, a time when the web was full of documents and pages. With the Opera Neon project, we want to show people our vision for the future of the web.”
Opera is just testing its concept. The new browser can be downloaded from former Opera website. If any one of you think that Opera Neon will replace Opera than I guess its not happening. The browser just provides a new way of browsing and is in its developing stage. Download Opera Neon here.
