WhatsApp messages can now be sent offline on iPhones
WhatsApp’s new update for iOS is exciting. On Tuesday, the announcement was made that now WhatsApp will allow sending offline messages by queuing them and they will be sent automatically once you find an internet connection.
Android users are availing this offer for more than a year now and now it is available for iOS users too. The previous version that was available for iOS had its send button disabled, if the mobile was not connected o a strong internet connection.
So even if you were writing a message and suddenly lost connection, you were not allowed by WhatsApp to send the message until you got internet connection back.
So now you can send message earlier and than go ahead to complete all necessary tasks the app will send your message automatically whenever the device catches internet signals. And the best part is not only one message can be sent but a lot of messages can be queued and sent.
Previously the WhatsApp installed in iOS would pause the message in the internet and connection was lost. According to the buzz, the new updated version of WhatsApp now allows 30 photos or videos to be added once. Previously only 10 items could be uploaded once.
Now the number has increased to 30. Storage usage screen has also been updated now enables you to clear certain message types, like videos or images, from specific chats to free up space. This is good news for all iOS users. So update your WhatsApp now.
