On Saturday, a mysterious bidder bid $28 million for Jeff Bezos’s seat for the first manned spaceflight of the multi-billion-dollar Blue Origin company next month.

The Amazon founder revealed this week that he and his brother Mark will both sit on the boat. The company’s new Shepard launch vehicle will fly to the edge of space and return on July 20. The Bezos brothers will join the winner of Saturday’s charity auction, whose identity is unknown.

“The name of the auction winner will be announced within a few weeks after the auction ends, “Blue Origin tweeted after the auction.

“The fourth and final crew member will then be announced, so stay tuned.”

The winning bidder on Saturday defeated about 20 competitors in the auction launched on May 19 and ended with a 10-minute live broadcast frenzy.

The bid on Thursday reached $4.8 million, but it soared in the final live auction, rising by millions of dollars-an an increase of $1.

The proceeds–plus 6% of the auction commission, will be used to create Blue Origin, Club for the Future, which aims to inspire future generations to pursue STEM careers: science, technology, engineering, and take off from the desert of western Texas, the New Shepard trip will last 10 minutes and four of the passengers will pass between the Earth’s atmosphere and space through the Carmen Line, which marks the recognized boundary.

It was separated from the propeller and stayed at an altitude of more than 100 kilometers for 4 minutes. During this time, the crew on board could experience weightlessness and observe the curvature of the earth.

The thruster automatically landed on a platform 2 miles from the launch site. Earlier this year, it was announced that the space capsule fleet Bezos, who would step down as Amazon’s CEO to devote more time to other activities, will return to the ground.

The three large parachutes decelerated to 1.6 km/h during landing. Projects including Blue Origin have stated that flying into space is a lifelong dream. Blue Origin’s New Shepard has successfully conducted more than a dozen unmanned tests at its facility in the Guadalupe Mountains of Texas.

“We’re ready to fly some astronauts,” said Ariane Cornell, Director of Blue Origin Astronaut and Orbital Sales on Saturday.

The reusable suborbital rocket system is based on the first American Alan Xie to enter space 60 years ago, named after Alan Shepard.

The unmanned automated capsules have 6 horizontal backrest seats, close to large portholes, in a futuristic cockpit with vibrant lighting. Multiple cameras help capture the few minutes of weightlessness experienced by space tourists.

The first manned flight of Blue Origin took place in private space. In the context of fierce competition in the field of exploration, Elon Musk’s SpaceX and Virgin Galactic Branson, founded by British billionaire Richard, are all fighting for pole position.

Bezos and Musk have a very In open competition, the latter’s SpaceX is planning to spend millions of dollars and send people into orbits further into space. At the same time, Virgin Galactic and it are expected to start regular commercial suborbital flights in early 2022.

The final plan is to conduct 400 flights a year. About 600 people have booked air tickets at a cost of between $200,000 and $250,000. There are also rumors that Branson himself will participate in the test flight this summer, although the date has not yet been determined.

Amazon billionaire founder Jeff Bezos said that he and his brother Mark will make the first manned space flight from their Blue Origin Rocket Company next month. “From the age of five, I have dreamed of going into space. On July 20, I will embark on that journey with my brother”, Bezos, one of the richest people in the world, said in an Instagram post.

Bezos will step down as CEO of Amazon on July 5. He will join the winner of Blue Origin’s first space flight seat auction. Bezos, billionaire Elon Musk and Richard Branson have been investing billions of dollars in their rocket startups, but Bezos will be the third of the three. A person who travels to space on a rocket developed by his own company.

The Origin spacecraft, which was originally scheduled to carry Bezos and others, has conducted 15 test flights, but none of them carried passengers.

Blue Origin concluded the first round of auctions last month and stated that it has received more than 5,200 bidders from 136 countries, but did not disclose the highest bid for the round.

Bezos’ rocket launch time is July 20th, and his first suborbital travel journey is a historic moment, aimed at ushering in a new era of private commercial space travel.

According to a product manager in the Financial Times, it is believed to be a flaw in the popular CDN provider, Fastly. Fastly has confirmed that its status website is facing outage.

“We are currently investigating the potential impact of our CDN service on performance,” the company said.

Update at 3:50 AM PT: Some websites are slowly recovering. “The problem has been identified and a fix is being implemented,” San Francisco-based Fastly said on its status page.

Update at 4:02 AM PT: The problem seems to have been resolved, and the affected websites and services can now load normally. The company has not communicated the reasons for the interruption.

Generally speaking, it lasted about an hour. The content delivery network (CDN) is a key part of the Internet infrastructure. These companies operate a global server network to improve the performance and availability of Web services.

The CDN acts like a proxy server and caches some data as close as possible to the end-user. For example, media content is usually cached on a CDN server near you, so you don’t have to retrieve it back to the original server every time a user loads a web page.

Although the network is a digital platform, it is very physical in nature. When you load a page on a server on the other side of the world, it takes hundreds of milliseconds to get the page.

Over time, this delay will accumulate and it feels like a slow experience. When the page has been cached, the CDN can usually start serving the page content in less than 25 milliseconds.

Over time, CDNs have added more features, such as load balancing, DDoS protection, web application firewalls, and other security features.

Popular CDNs include Fastly, Cloudflare, CloudFront on Amazon Web Services, and Akamai. Especially Fastly is very popular among media websites. The company went public in 2019.

The stock price of Fastly (NYSE: FSLY) is currently trading at US$48.06, a 5.21% drop from yesterday’s closing price. He quickly referred to it as a “global CDN outage” and appeared to be affecting the company’s global network.

Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Commerce, Textiles and Investment Abdul Razzaq Dawood announced on Twitter that Amazon has confirmed that Pakistan has been included in the list of sellers of the e-commerce giant.

The Prime Minister’s Trade Adviser earlier stated that Amazon’s listing is an important milestone in the government’s e-commerce policy thanks to the joint efforts of many people around the world. If it is global, Amazon’s inventory in all its categories and services is approximately 12 million.

He said: “Amazon has a 45% share of the US e-commerce market, and it can be explored in an open competitive environment.” Ahmed said:

“This is a huge motivation for Pakistani manufacturers.” Digital media marketing Merchant Nouman Younas added that Amazon’s update is not only good news for the business community, but freelancers are also very happy.

After joining the list, Pakistani businessmen will be able to easily sell their products on the platform. However, according to reports, the Ministry of Commerce initially only shared the names of 38 exporters with Amazon for registration, so it will take time to make the most of it.

Amazon confirmed the purchase of Souq and PayFort. Amazon is one of the biggest online stores. The authorities confirmed that the news about adding Souq to their assets was hundred percent true. Souq is the biggest e-commerce chain in the Middle East.

Though the authorities avoided revealing the price at which it bought Souq the rumors were still hot that it costed them worth $650 million to $750 million. If these anonymous sources are to be believed the price is not too much for acquiring the biggest e-commerce chain and this is definitely a deal of benefit and not of loss.

The deal has confirmed the fact that Amazon is interested to put its feet in Middle East and wants to expand its business. This deal will allow it to spread wider in Middle East and reach maximum number of customers.

It was not an easy deal. Emaar Malls were looking forward to bag the Souq by bidding a whole $800 million for the e-store.

Dany Farha, the CEO of BECO Capital was of the view that the addition of Souq to Emaar was a good deal.

He said,

“If Souq were to be bought out by a traditional operator like Emaar Malls and gave Souq complete autonomy over strategy, operations etc, letting the techie side of the executive team currently in place to truly shine and flourish.

Emaar would only act as a helping hand to increase supply of product, strengthen supply chain, reinforce the branding and marketing offline in stores across the region, and build out an omni-channel strategy for retailers across the region, whilst supporting it with funding and increasing its capital efficiency, then this would be a fantastic outcome. Amazon has many of these attributes, which also makes it an optimal buyer.”

Dash Ventures’ Managing Director and Omar J. Sati think that the ball was in their court forever. The deal was for them and no matter how much anyone would have bid they would have won the bid.

He said,

“Clearly, the higher bid from Emaar is better for them at first glance, but the Amazon deal is still unclear. Will they keep management? Will there be sweeteners such as earn-outs? Don’t forget, the biggest advantage Amazon has is the ability to offer share swaps and share incentives in Amazon. In summary,

I think an Emaar deal would be a short-term win for the Souq team, but an Amazon deal would be a more valuable win in the long-term. In either case, it’s a win”.

The deal features a clause where a fintech company under the name of PayFort will be added to Amazon’s assets. The company was initially under the management of Souq.com. After acquiring Souq, PayFort comes under Amazon.

According to the PayFort Managing Director, Omar Soudodi,

“Today as part of Souq Group Inc. we are pleased to officially announce that PayFort International Inc. and its subsidiaries will be acquired by Amazon, through Amazon’s acquisition of the Souq Group. We are excited about the future opportunities that are ahead of us as part of Amazon.”

Apple wants to remain on top and does not want any other tech company to replace its position in any category.

According to the buzz Apple is planning to have a TV original series.

It has planned to buy TB scripts from producers of famous television series. It does not want to remain traditional and wants to broadcast something that will become famous in the years to come.

The things like Stranger Things or West world are on Apples mind.

Carpool Karaoke is the part of content Apple wants tk broadcast. The show features the host traveling with guests while singing their favorite songs. The bundle will consist of Apple TV series and Apple’s Music App. This will cost $9.99 per month.

Planet of Apps is the first TV reality show that Apple wants to buy. The show features app developers. The host for the show will be Will.i.am. Will.i.am is the famous rapper and tech enthusiast.

With the launch of Original TV Shows surely Netflix and Amazon will face biggest competition.

At the moment the two are the giant streaming companies with the introduction of Original TV Shows there popularity can decrease to a whole new level.

According to the stats the Apple Music App has 20 million paid subscribers with a competition to 40 million paid subscribers of Spotify. The decision of Apple will help Apple ti stand out the competition.

In the history of Apple for the very first time lately the Apple is facing a downfall. The decision is to remain on the top and standout any competition with other mobile companies and apps.

The company has already put forward an order of ten episodes of Carpool Karaoke. That is another thing that no proper date is given for the premier.

Apple is the biggest and successful company serving billions of people. The fact is that Netflix and Amazon need to watch out as the competition is going to rise.

Amazon.com Inc. is planning to buy a Dubai-based online retailer Souq.com FZ for about $1 billion in a deal.

The news broke out when Middle East e-commerce site initially planned to sell a stake. This could be a mere rumor, but it has shaken the stoke market. Initially the news was about just selling a stake but then the news got expanded declaring that Amazon is interested to buy the whole of it.

A spokesman for Souq.com declined to comment. A representative for Amazon didn’t respond to calls and an e-mail seeking comment.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. was given the responsibility of finding a buyer for a share of company by Souq.com. It was also heard that the company’s existing investors — Tiger Global Management and South Naspers Ltd. were also planning to sell their holdings some said that they are already in talks with buyers.

Souq.com is online retailer and sells about 1.5 million products to United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, according to its website.

During an interview Chief Executive Officer Ronaldo Mouchawar said, “The Company would be open to selling shares to the public in the future.”

No decisions have been made but as soon we get the news we will share it with all users.

Don’t know if the news is authentic or just another rumor but its strong enough to open your eyes wide.
