FM’s Portal Launched in Five Pakistan Missions
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the supervision of Shah Mahmoud Qureshi, launched the pilot phase of the Foreign Minister’s Portal (FMP) to receive complaints and comments on the problems faced by Pakistanis abroad. The portal will be launched within the framework of the FO Thought Leadership Platform.
“I launched a portal to strengthen the relationship between our Pakistanis and missions abroad in the form of comments, complaints, and suggestions. I look forward to personally participating in the feedback of the diaspora in order to obtain more effective services and progress,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Said in a tweet on Monday.
The main goal of the portal is to directly interact with the diaspora by providing remote access missions.
“This will also help assess the nature of the problems faced by Pakistanis abroad and propose better solutions,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
In the pilot phase, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website will initially be open to foreigners living in the five overseas jurisdictions of Pakistan. For missions such as Barcelona, Dubai, Jeddah, London, and New York, the Pakistani community and foreigners can download the mobile application of the “Minister of Foreign Affairs Portal” from the Android store, and for iPhone users, the application will be available in the next few days.
It is available for download inside, and you will be able to register your questions, suggestions, and comments through this application. The General Office also stated that the scale of the portal will be gradually expanded to all Pakistani missions abroad.
